Yucatan Hacienda Break Tour
Day 1: Departure from North America Gateway
Welcome to Merida México! Upon arrival you will be met at Merida airport from arrival flight and transfer in private vehicle to the Private Residential Hacienda San Antonio Millet (approx. 45 minutes). Upon arrival passengers will be met by their hostess who will show them the hacienda and accompany them to their rooms. Meal arrangements and times may be coordinated with the hostess.
DAY 2: Morning Free / Afternoon visit to Merida
Guests will have the morning free to enjoy the hacienda. An optional Mayassage or horseback riding can be arranged the night before. In the afternoon their private guide/driver will pick them up to have a sightseeing tour of Merida, visiting the highlights of downtown and the Anthropology & Archaeology Museum and the Popular Arts Museum. They will enjoy a local sorbet at our 100 year old Sorbeteria and dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 3: Morning Free / Afternoon visit to Izmal
Guests will have the morning free to enjoy the hacienda. An optional Mayassage or horseback riding can be arranged the night before. In the afternoon their private guide/driver will pick them up to have a sightseeing tour of Izamal, a quaint colonial city approximately 30 minutes from the hacienda. Upon arriving in Izamal, they will visit the Franciscan Convent and the Popular Arts Museum. They will also take a carriage ride to visit several of the local workshops located in the homes of the local people.
DAY 4: Chichén Itza / Riviera Maya
Guests depart the Private Hacienda Residential San Antonio Millet to visit the famous Chichén Itza archaeological site. They will tour the site with their private guide and have time to take pictures. After the tour, they will have lunch at a local hacienda before departing from their hotel in Cancun or the Riviera Maya.
