Day 1: Departure from North America Gateway

Welcome to Cancun México!  Upon arrival into Cancun International Airport, you are met and assisted by our airport representative. Proceed to your hotel of choice for overnight.

Day 2: Cancun – Chichen Itzá

8:00 a.m. departure from Cancun for a drive across the Yucatan landscape to Chichen Itzá. Step back a thousand years at the Sacred Cenote, the Ball Court, and the Pyramid of Kukulcan. Chichen Itza combines the art of the Maya with the power of the Toltecs, who invaded the Yucatan a thousand years ago and changed the culture completely. Lunch is served at the local restaurant near the site. In the afternoon, you will check in at your hotel. Overnight at Chichen Itza.

Day 3: Chichen Itzá – Mérida

Morning free to revisit the site on your own or enjoy your hotel. You’ll leave Chichen Itza at 4:00 p.m. arriving in Mérida later in the evening. The treasures of the Yucatan are here in Mérida: Black coral and white guayaberas, cmbroidered huipiles and bright woven hammocks. There is no better place to buy these handicrafts. The Trova Bars are noted for their romantic songs and the folk traditions of the Yucatan. Overnight in Mérida.

Day 4: Mérida – Uxmal

The city tour begins at 9:00 a.m. featuring monuments of the 16th century as the Cathedral, the Governor’s Palace and the Town Hall. At 1:30 p.m. , you’ll depart for Uxmal to explore the ruins of the classic Mayan City. The oval Pyramid of the Magician and the stately Palace of the Governor are unmatched for their sophisticated architecture. After dinner, enjoy the Light and Sound Show at Uxmal. Overnight in Uxmal.

Day 5: Uxmal – Cancun

Transfer to Merida’s airport for your flight back to Cancun or continue by road visiting the colonial city of Izamal, arriving in Cancun in the early evening.
