| Your contract with Vacations For Less, Inc. (VFL)
RESERVATION AND PAYMENT:
For bookings made 45 days or more prior to departure a deposit of $250.00 per person is required within 5 days of making your reservation. Bookings made 44 days or less prior to departure require immediate payment in full upon confirmation.
For packages utilizing published airline tickets, a deposit of $200.00 per person plus full payment of the air portion of the package is required at the time of guarantee.
For packages using contracted scheduled air, deposit of $200.00 per person plus $500.00 per person for air ticket is required at the time of guarantee.
VFL reserves the right to issue scheduled airline tickets once full payment is received in order to guarantee the airfare.
LAST MINUTE BOOKING:
VFL accepts last minute reservations provided space is available and full payment is made upon confirmation. There is no last minute booking fees, however, Express delivery charges may apply.
FORMS OF PAYMENT:
Payments may be made by agency check or by American Express, Discover Card, Master Card, Optima, or Visa credit cards. All returned checks are subject to a $35.00 service fee.
CANCELLATIONS AND AMMENDMENTS:
If you cancel your vacation or make any changes to departure or return date, airline class of service, name or name correction or the hotel, the charges shown below will apply. Significant additional penalties on non-refundable airline tickets and change fees or non- transferable hotel promotions may apply.
CANCELLATION FEES:
Cancellation notices received 45 days or more prior to departure $150.00 per person
Cancellation notices received 44 to 31 days prior to departure $200.00 per person
Cancellation notices received 30 days or less prior to departure 100% of cost per person
Hotel penalties may apply and vary by hotel anywhere from 1 night hotel penalty to totally nonrefundable. If airfare involved cancellation fees or non refundable airfare could be applicable.
BOOKING REVISIONS/CHANGES:
Notice received by VFL after deposit or full payment received $25.00 per person
Notice received by VFL after air tickets have been issued $50.00 per person
Plus some restricted air tickets may be non-refundable or have airline imposed cancellation fees or change fees.
LUGGAGE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY:
It is the passengers' responsibility to check specific airline policy of liability for loss, damage or delay to checked baggage and maximum weight allowed per suitcase per passenger. Excess baggage fees may apply if not complied with. All lost or damaged luggage must be reported to the air carrier at the time of incident and before leaving the airport.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION COMPANY:
Luggage and Personal Property lost or damaged baggage must be reported immediately to the Ground Transportation Company at the destination. VFL does not accept liability for loss or damage of clients' luggage or personal property.
PASSPORT AND VISA:
Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents. Israel require US citizens to have valid passport at least 6 months after date of travel.
TRAVEL PROTECTION AND INSURANCE:
At time of deposit / guarantee / or full payment you may purchase Travel Mate insurance from VFL at an additional cost to cover baggage, medical, cancellation and accident. Insurance policy is not in effect until the premium is paid. Premiums are non-refundable. Claims must be sent directly to Travel Mate. |
REFUNDS:
Any claim for refund must be submitted to VFL IN WRITING along with any supporting documentation within 30 DAYS of completion of the trip. NO refunds can be made for features included in our program that travelers chose not to take partin. NO refunds can be made for missing sightseeing or other feature due to changes or delays in airline schedules. Some airline tickets may be non-refundable. NO
REFUND REQUEST WILL BE ACCEPTED BY PHONE. Refund request will be processed within 30 days of receipt. Should any passenger find it necessary to alter their travel arrangements once their tour has commenced, refunds will be made only with the expressed written consent of the hotels involved. A refund processing charge of $50.00 will apply to each booking.
HOTELS:
All hotel rates include hotel tax. Some hotels may include mandatory Service Fees. NO meals are included in rates unless otherwise indicated. Hotel and Room categories are set by each individual hotel. Extra night rates may not necessarily agree with hotel published rates. VFL cannot guarantee specific requests for room location or bedding arrangements at the hotels.
AIRLINE TICKETS AND LAND VOUCHER:
Upon receiving the travel document it is important to review them for correct name spelling, dates and flight schedule. Please call the airlines 24 hours prior to your trip to reconfirm flight and departure times. VFL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for passengers missing their flights due to schedule changes once tickets have been issued. VFL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for passengers making independent connection flights to our travel package. VFL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for passengers denied boarding due to improper immigration documents.
ASSOCIATION:
VFL is registered as a Seller of Travel with the California Attorney General pursuant to section 17550 of the California Business and Professions Code, under registration # 2002477. Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the state of California.
VFL vacation packages are subject to Terms and Conditions as stated in our brochures. Booking of the vacation package constitutes acceptance of the terms in the contract including the procedures for resolution of disputes, which must take place in the city of Los Angeles, State of California.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Vacations For Less, Inc. located in Los Angeles, CA, and or its associated companies, agents, and representatives act only as independent contractors for the owners and operators of transportation, accommodations, services, airlines and facilities contracted for you and, therefore, are not to be held responsible for any losses, damages, negligence, body or emotional injury you may suffer in connection with your transportation, accommodations or any other arrangements made in conjunction with these vacation packages.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
By accepting your booking reservation confirmation you acknowledge that in all events Vacations For Less Inc. shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages and that the sole extent of Vacations For Less liability shall never exceed the amount actually paid by you to Vacations For Less, Inc.
ARBITRATION:
Any dispute arising out of or relating to any vacations offered shall be submitted to non-binding Arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act. California law pertaining to agreements to arbitrate shall apply and the arbitration shall be conducted under the Terms of California Code of Civil Procedure. The non-binding arbitration shall take place in The County of Los Angeles, in the city of Los Angeles, State of California. Each party shall pay for its own costs, arbitration fees and attorney's fees.
