Day 1: Departure from North America Gateway
Welcome to Guadalajara México! Reception at Guadalajara airport and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon tour of the city & Tlaquepaque. You would visit the historical downtown including the magnificent colonial buildings like: the Cathedral, the Government Palace, The Degollado Theatre.
Day 2: Guadalajara/Morelia
Departure to Morelia. Afternoon tour of the city considered the Aristocrat of the Colonial Cities. The tour includes: the Cathedral, Government Palace, Clavijero´s Palace, the Conservatory of the Roses and the famous Candy Market.
Day 3: Morelia/Tzintzuntzan/Patzcuaro
Departure to Patzcuaro. On route you will visit the ancient capital of the Purepecha Culture with their circular pyramids called Yacatas. Upon arrival to Patzcuaro, tour of this fascinating town that includes: The Plaza Vasco de Quiroga, the House of the 11 Patios, The Shrine of Our Lady of the Health and the Library (ex-church of San Agutin) with colorful murals depicting the history of the state.
Day 4: Patzcuaro/Guadalajara
Departure to Guadalajara and transfer to the airport.
Note: Transfer to airport can be on another date, additional nights in Guadalajara available.
