Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva Weddings in Mexico and Jamaica

Once upon a time “destination weddings” was essentially “eloping,” in time couples began traveling with family and friends to the destinations. Even though the destinations were appealing, the cost would make them out of reach, and customizing and wedding was usually very limited.  Thanks to innovative resort wedding experts, today’s destination wedding is not only customizable but also cost effective.

“What first attracted me to offering Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva were the stunning destinations,” says Teresa Stauring, Beverly Hills, California and owner of travel agency. This new line of luxury-beach-front-properties represents “the evolution of all-inclusive,” says Teresa. “Couples can get married directly on the beach or in a beautiful garden and wedding gazebo. The sky wedding venue at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta offers views of the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other.”

The most appealing thing about the the beach properties by Hyatt is that they’re surprisingly affordable, says Jenny Delgado, bride at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun, “the prices are extremely cost effective compared to a formal wedding with local venues,’' especially given that many guests often have to travel from out of town to the wedding regardless of the destination, and because the resorts are all-inclusive, there’s no unexpected expenses, and the properties even offer free destination wedding packages, so the cake, the ceremony, the flowers-“it’s all included.”

Teresa emphasizes that the hotels destinatio wedding packages are just a starting point for planning. “Couples are looking for their wedding day to be a unique and special experience, and this is where Hyatt’s “service from the heart,” comes in. The hotel staff go out of their way to help guests design their wedding just as they dreamed.”

Hyatt also created a one-place call center available to couples 7-days a week for wedding planning, as well as an on-site wedding coordinator team at each Play property. For couples whom want to consider more hands-on wedding planning, Hyatt offers the Big Day Preview. “When planning a Hyatt wedding, couples visit the property and meet with vendors, and have an opportunity, with the Big Day Preview to experience the resort firsthand, but also meet the on-site wedding coordinators, taste the cakes, look at the linens, table settings and begin designing their dream wedding,” she Teresa says.

As if paradise weren’t enough, Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva offer luxury, value, convenience and custom wedding choices. If you’re looking to take advantage of The Bid Day Preview, the following applied in late 2015: features all-inclusive 2-night stay for just $500 per couple. If couples book their wedding at the resort, they receive a $500 credit (with a minimum $2500 wedding program), making the preview essentially free. Once the perfect venue is chosen, free wedding packages include “For just the Two of You,” with six room nights booked, and “Intimate Elegance,” for 10 guests with 15 nights booked. Alternately, guests may choose to go “Lavish & Opulent” for up to 20 guests.
